HASS avocado

HISTORY
Hass avocados were first discovered in 1926 by Rudolph Hass, a postman and amateur horticulturist from Southern California. He patented the tree in 1935 and it quickly became popular due to its consistent quality and flavor.

NUTRITIONAL VALUE
Hass avocados are known for their creamy, buttery texture and nutty flavor. They have a higher fat content than other varieties of avocados, which contributes to their rich flavor and texture.
Hass avocados are a good source of healthy monounsaturated fats, fiber, potassium, and vitamins C and K. They are also low in carbs and cholesterol-free.

Our Farms
Hass avocados are grown primarily in California, Mexico, Chile, and Peru. They are the most widely cultivated variety of avocado, accounting for approximately 80% of the world's avocado production.
We import our avocado from Mexico, specifically in Michoacan.
With 120,000 hectares of avocado cultivation certified for export, Michoacán is considered a world leader in the production of this fruit.
